I live on an island, albeit a very large one, so this is something I see so frequently on my walks along one of the many nearby beaches.  I love how the gulls draw their necks down when it is a blustery day.  I chose to a colour harmony of blue/greys and very soft browns and greens; a colour palette that I really love.
